Smoked Garlic Butter
With warm weather we welcome barbecue season, picnics
and outdoor dining. Add this tasty condiment as a spread for bread, to meat
sandwiches or over grilled fish or steak. Use as a final ingredient to your
favorite steamed or grilled vegetable dishes.
6 cloves of smoked garlic
1 stick of butter, softened (margarine may be used)
Slice butter or margarine into tablespoon-sized pieces. Mince garlic in food
processor or blender. Add butter and process until combined. Salt to taste if
desired and combine again. Store your smoked garlic butter in a covered dish and
refrigerate. Makes 4 ounces.
